ALL COURSES MEET ELDT (Entry Level Driver Training) REQUIREMENTS

  • The Class A program includes:

    • FMCSA training on federal regulations, with which drivers will need to comply for Record of Duty Status (Log Book).

    • FMCSA Level One inspection guidelines training, which drivers encounter once they enter the transportation industry.

    • Students study the various aspects of operating a CMV with an instructor. Afternoon classes are held in the classroom, covering rules, regulations, and obtaining certificates. This will allow students to be more marketable for their new career in the transportation industry.

    Daily classes are eight hours in length with six hours being in field and two hours in the classroom.

    Graduates receive a Class A CDL from the state DMV. Successful completion of the program qualifies graduates to work in an entry-level driver position.

    Class Length: Approximately 80 Hours (Depends on skills experience)

    Course Cost: $4,350

    CDL Test Package (CDL Test, Truck Rental, Trailer Rental) $650

    Certificate Issued: Upon Completion of Course

  • The Class B program is for those who currently hold a Commercial Learner Permit (CLP).

    The Class B program includes:

    • FMCSA training on federal regulations, with which drivers will need to comply for Record of Duty Status (Log Book).

    • FMCSA Level One inspection guidelines training, which drivers encounter once they enter the transportation industry.

    • This one-week course provides 40 hours of field training with an instructor in a class B vehicle. Students take their CDL test the weekend after completion of their 40 hours of field training.

    Daily classes are eight hours in length with six hours being in field and two hours in the classroom.

    Graduates receive a Class B CDL from the state DMV. Successful completion of the program qualifies graduates to work in an entry-level driver position.

    Class Length: 40 Hours

    Course Cost: $3,000

Your Roadmap With Us

Step 1: Achieve your CLP and DOT Medical Card

Our program sets you up to successfully pass your state CLP exam. Once you have your CLP, you are qualified to begin behind-the-wheel training for your CDL.

Step 2: Select the Class of CDL You Need

CDL Class A

You can operate any combination of vehicles with a GCWR of 26,001 if the vehicle you’re towing weighs more than 10,000 pounds.

CDL Class B

You can operate a single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds; you can operate any such vehicle towing another vehicle weighing fewer than 10,000 GVWR.

Step 3: Complete ELDT Classroom/ Theory

Start right away with our online EDLT FMCSA approved theory class.

  • Immediate completion reporting to the FMCSA

Step 4: Complete Behind the Wheel; Over the Road and Range

We will provide the truck and trailer and work with you on your skills behind the wheel; range and over the road.

Step 5: Take the CDL Test

We will schedule your CDL Test and provide the truck and trailer.
