This course gets your foot in the door with all walks of the CDL industry. Local, OTR and Energy jobs are available to you upon graduation. We have the referrals that you want to meet to start earning $70-90k annually. This course requires a Medical DOT Exam, Drug Screen and Drivers License for enrollment. So first of all, what does Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training consist of, and what will you be doing on a day-to-day basis in our four-week class? Training for the CDL can be completed in three 40-hour weeks. Your hours will be split between the following:

Classroom Instruction

  • The classroom portion takes up one-quarter of our four-week course and will teach you the rules and regulations of truck driving. In the classroom, you will receive all the information you need to pass the written portion of the Class A CDL exam.

Your training behind the wheel will include practice driving on our course as well as local roads, streets, and highways. Forklift Truck Operator Instructor Development

H2S Alive Course Description 

This course is required by oilfield companies and is intended for all workers in the petroleum industry who could be exposed to hydrogen sulphide (H2S). The primary focus is to help people work safely in and around H2S environments. This course covers the physical properties and health hazards of H2S, how to protect oneself and basic rescue techniques. Each participant is required to operate a self-contained breathing apparatus and perform rescue lift and drag exercises.

  • A variety of strategies are used to facilitate learning including discussion, guides/manuals, PowerPoints, group projects, and practical exercise including rescue drags, air monitor usage, and donning/doffing of SCBAs.


Course Length: 7-8 Hours

Pre Requisites: None

Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course each participant will receive a certificate that is valid for three years. Course participants will be able to apply the knowledge and skills learned.
